1. The Sisters of St. Joseph and Consociates of St. Stephens Parish in Minneapolis are hosting a brunch this Sunday, July 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to benefit the NONVIOLENT PEACEFORCE. It will be held in the basement of the church. The sliding scale donation is $5.00 - $25:00. All are welcome.

2. Fresh Energy (Remember J. Drake Hamilton from the Summit?) is organizing a media training for students and community members on effectively communicating renewable energy messages with the media. This training will be held Saturday, July 29th in Mankato. Please let us know if you are interested in attending this by emailing Jill at junderdahl@csjstpaul.org. See invite below.

At this one day media training, learn about renewable energy framing, what the media is looking for with energy stories, receive hands on video training and interview techniques, and discover the many resources available to you as a media messenger to Fresh Energy.

Greetings all POWER Summit folks!

We are so delighted by the success of our first POWER Summit! Thank you to all the participants, volunteers and staff for making the week so meaningful, challenging and impacting.
